Why now
Accessibility is now the law. Most sites aren’t ready.
Missing alt text, unlabeled buttons, keyboard traps and faint text lock people out every day, and since June 2025 they are a legal risk in the EU.
28 June 2025
The European Accessibility Act applies to consumer services sold in the EU, from e-commerce to banking and e-books. Authorities can fine.
Not an overlay
Widgets that promise one-line compliance don’t fix your code, and disabled users and courts criticise them.
Not a wall of codes
Most scanners dump hundreds of WCAG references on non-experts. You need to know what to fix first, and how.
How it works
From URL to fixed, in four steps.
01 · Scan
A real browser walks your site
Raasta crawls from your sitemap, opens menus and scrolls like a visitor, then runs WCAG 2.2 AA checks with axe-core on every page.
02 · Understand
Every issue, in plain language
Issues are grouped across pages and ranked by severity and by how many people they affect, with who it hurts and why.
03 · Fix
The exact code change
See the element, a screenshot crop and the fix for HTML, React, Shopify Liquid or WordPress. AI-suggested alt text waits for your approval.
04 · Monitor
Stay compliant after every deploy
Weekly or monthly re-scans alert you when something regresses, and keep a compliance report and accessibility statement up to date.
EAA check
Does the European Accessibility Act apply to you?
Four quick questions for a first answer. It runs in your browser.
Question 1 of 4
Information, not legal advice. A simplified reading of Directive (EU) 2019/882. Your answers stay in your browser.
Features
Everything you need to get compliant, and stay there.
Issues grouped and ranked
One fix often clears dozens of pages. Raasta groups issues across your site and ranks them by severity and how many people they affect.
Plain language
What the problem is, who it hurts and how to fix it, written for people who aren’t accessibility experts.
Fixes for your stack
The element, a screenshot crop and the code change for HTML, React, Shopify Liquid or WordPress.
Monitoring and alerts
Weekly or monthly re-scans. An alert as soon as a deploy brings an issue back.
Reports and statement
A compliance report and a draft accessibility statement page. White-label for agencies.
Built for the people who fix sites
Whoever owns the site, Raasta tells them what matters and what to do next.
- Online storesWhat to fix first to meet the EAA.
- AgenciesAudit clients, bill monthly monitoring.
- DevelopersCopy-paste fixes for their framework.
- Public sectorA statement and evidence of checks.
No overlay. Ever.
Overlays don’t make a site compliant, so we don’t sell one. And we’re honest: automated checks find a large share of issues, not all. Some criteria need a human.

Can I use Raasta today?
Not yet. Raasta is in validation: we are checking that it solves a real problem before we build it. Join the waitlist and you will be first to try the free scan of any URL: a score, the top issues and a plain-language summary, with no account needed.
Does the European Accessibility Act apply to my business?
It applies from 28 June 2025 to many consumer-facing digital services sold in the EU, including e-commerce, banking, e-books and passenger transport services. Micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 people and no more than €2 million turnover or balance sheet) are exempt for services. Our quick checker above gives a first answer, but it is information, not legal advice.
Will Raasta make my site compliant, or certify it?
Raasta helps you get there; it does not certify compliance. Automated checks find a large share of accessibility problems, but not all of them: some WCAG criteria need a human to judge. We say so in the product, and plan to partner with expert auditors for manual reviews.
Why don’t you sell an overlay widget?
Because overlays don’t fix the underlying site. They are widely criticised by disabled users, and they have not protected businesses from complaints. Raasta points to the real element in your code and gives you the change that fixes it.
What does a scan actually check?
Raasta loads your pages in a real headless browser, scrolls and opens menus like a visitor would, and runs automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks with axe-core on each page. Issues are then grouped across pages, for example “37 images without alt text on 12 pages”, and ranked by severity and how many people they affect.
Which platforms do the code fixes cover?
Each issue shows the exact element, a screenshot crop and the code change for plain HTML, React, Shopify Liquid or WordPress. For images, Raasta suggests alt text with AI for a person to approve; fixes are always shown as suggestions.
Can my agency use it for client sites?
Yes, that is one of the main reasons we are building it. The planned Agency plan covers 25 sites with white-label reports, so you can audit each client site, fix it and bill accessibility monitoring as a monthly service.
